Dedicating the Family
We want to intentionally encourage, equip, and prepare families with a clear vision for their home and practical tools to live it out.

A family vision statement helps answer:
Who is God calling our family to become?
What kind of presence are we called to have in the world?
What do we want to be true of our family over time?
The goal is not to produce the most impressive or spiritual-sounding statement.
It is to prayerfully identify a few clear things that can focus and direct the family.
Family values should reflect where God is leading the family, but they can also intentionally confront what has previously shaped the family.
Some values may be aspirational:
What kind of family are we becoming?
What practices will help us follow Jesus together?
Others may be corrective:
What generational sins do we not want to pass down?
What unhealthy patterns have shaped us?
What personal weaknesses do we need to counteract?
What needs to change so our children inherit something healthier?
In other words, values can declare both:
“This is what we are building,” and “This is what ends with us.”
