We exist to help students get a clear picture of who Jesus created them to be.
We believe that every student is created in the image of God, and we want to help them develop a clear picture of what that means.
Back in the old days, pictures were captured on film. And the film had to be developed in a dark room with a specific environment in order to accurately portray the person in the picture.
We see the years of junior high and high school in the same way. While it is a short phase of life, it can be pivotal in how we come to see Jesus, ourselves, and our place in his mission.
So here at Portrait Youth, we want to cultivate the type of environment that helps students discover exactly who God created them to be.
Portrait meets on Wednesdays from 6:30pm-8pm at 520 Brookside Ave, Redlands in the downstairs space of where Portrait Church meets on Sundays.
Our gathering times are meant to cultivate a safe environment for students to have fun, form relationships with other students and mentors, and explore conversations about their faith and the unique challenges of their lives.
Our gatherings feature games, a message, and small group discussions.
Portrait Youth is aimed at serving students in grades 6-12.
All of our Portrait Youth leaders have been background-checked and trained in abuse prevention and response.
